When they do, there is limited money available for treatment. The 8 dollars a head formerly spent in Tanzania included an allocation for trained staff, as well as for buildings. The IDRC offered to increase this by 2 dollars as long as the money was allocated apropietly. Research showed that the health budget in Tanzania had been evenly distributed in previuous years, so estrategies were implemented to help redress this. The basis of the current world (Web project)

Ancient civilizations are the basis of the world as we know it today, built on the ruins of 10,000 years of advanced cultures such as the Greek, Roman, Mesopotamia, Mayan, Indus, Egyptian, and others that we know primarily through archaeology and some written records.

Evidence for fairly sophisticated political and social organization has been identified in Mesopotamia as long ago as 4700 BC; but most of the post-Neolithic societies that we consider 'civilizations' are dated beginning just about 3000 BC.
